Honda is preparing to launch a special dark edition of the Elevate, which has been seen without camouflage for the first time. As the name implies, the vehicle sports a sleek black exterior with dark edition badging located at the rear left.
Although there are no images of the interior yet, we expect it to follow the typical trend of an all-black cabin. This special version is likely to be offered in the higher trims, featuring premium features such as climate control, connected car technology, and level-2 ADAS.
The Honda Elevate comes with a single engine option—a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine delivering 114bhp and 145Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT.
This dark edition marks the second special version of the Elevate and is expected to carry a price premium. It will compete with rivals such as the Kia Seltos X-Line, Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo, Volkswagen Taigun GT-Line, and the MG Astor Black Storm.
Though Honda is not participating in the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, it could reveal details about the special edition around the same time, taking advantage of the event’s buzz. The media day for the Mobility Show is scheduled for January 17
