Our Story
In March 2019, Kannada News Today was founded by Satish Raj Goravigere, a senior journalist with an MA in Mass Communication. With years of experience working as a reporter, writer, and editor in leading newspapers and TV channels, he felt the need to create a platform where journalism could truly serve the readers without restrictions or external influence.
He launched Kannada News Today with a vision to provide meaningful, fact-based, and reader-first journalism. Over the years, we have grown to become one of Karnataka’s leading digital news platforms, reaching thousands of readers daily.
While we initially covered a wide range of news, we have since evolved to focus more on in-depth reporting, investigative journalism, and fact-checking. We believe in delivering news that matters — stories that inform, inspire, and empower our audience.
