The incident, which involved misconduct during an official meeting, came to light after a video of the act went viral on social media. The woman, a resident of Pavagada, had visited the DySP’s office to file a complaint related to a land dispute. She was reportedly called to the office for discussions and further investigation. However, during the meeting, DySP Ramachandrappa allegedly coerced the woman into inappropriate behavior, claiming that she would get justice only if she complied with his demands.
